A man in Vero Beach burns himself after setting his losing jersey on fire.

VERO BEACH, Florida – A 27-year-old man was rushed to the Indian River Medical Center after suffering second and third-degree burns after watching the Dallas Cowboys and Green Bay Packers game in Vero Beach.

The Indian River County Sheriff’s Office received a call about the incident around 9:00 p.m. Sunday from a home in the 600 block of 9th Street in Vero Beach.

‘Kiss my ass!’ yells Fort Pierce man as he moons police

Like many nights in Fort Pierce, police were responding to a report of a shirtless drunk man causing trouble.

Austin Lee Young was found outside of an apartment, trying to get in.

Apparently the man who lives at that apartment “made inappropriate statements to his wife,” according to the police report.

Young said he lives nearby.

Police told Young he wasn’t allowed back on the property, and he got upset. Police say he shouted profanity and went back to his apartment. Full Story »

Drunk Florida Man hits 17 cars while trying to park

DAVENPORT, Fla. – A 25-year-old Orlando man was arrested on DUI charges after he struck 17 parked vehicles at an apartment complex in Osceola County, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

Tony Futch was arrested and booked into the Osceola County Jail.

The FHP said troopers were called to The Gate Apartments in Davenport for a report of an impaired driver.

Troopers said Futch was driving a blue 2003 Chevrolet Blazer and struck 17 vehicles in eight different crashes as he kept trying to park his SUV. Full Story »

Drunk Florida Man sets scooter on fire because he ‘got mad’ at it

Chance Richie was drunk and angry at his scooter, so he set it on fire, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office.

Late Wednesday, deputies found a 2016 Taizhou scooter up in a blaze in the 8600 block of Blind Pass Road in St. Pete Beach. The fire caused minor damage to two cars parked next to it.

All that was left after firefighters were through with the scooter was a scorched mess. Full Story »
