Cape Coral (WTFF) – A Florida man was found passed out in his running vehicle while waiting in the drive-through line at Wendy’s.
19-year-old Tristan Perry was arrested early Thursday morning and charged with DUI, driving with a suspended license, failing to register motor vehicle, and liquor possession by a person under 21, according to NBC2 and WNEM.
The Lee County man was found slumped over and unresponsive in the driver’s seat of a car that was still in drive.
It was about 2:30 in the morning, though he was on his way home from work, which he left at 10:30 pm.
A few knocks on the window woke him up.
Perry refused a breath test, and tried to slip a beer can into his pocket while being questioned by Cape Coral police.
There are many drive-thru incidents in Florida. Like the time that a drunk Tampa man mistook a bank drive-thru for Taco Bell, or when a couple in Ocala started selling drugs out of a drive-thru window in their mobile home.
