Martin County (WTFF) – A Florida man is in jail after reportedly slapping his girlfriend in the face with a cheeseburger.
The girlfriend of 30-year-old Kyle Jamison Jones called 911 after he allegedly woke her up by slapping her in the face with a cheeseburger, reported ABC7.
When the Martin County Sheriff’s deputies arrived, she was visibly upset and “covered with particles of the food item.”
Jones admitted to an argument, but said he never became physical.
The victim said he pulled her hair and kicked her down the stairs.
Corporate news shamelessly capitalized on the domestic abuse situation by rolling with their various “Florida Man” headlines to produce advertising revenue.
Jones was arrested on suspicion of battery.
