Iguana Rescued From Fort Lauderdale Toilet

Fort Lauderdale (WTFF) – A Florida man dialed 911 after opening his toilet lid and finding a lizard inside the bowl.

Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue responded to the call, and posted pictures online.

The brave Floridian firefighters of Engine 13 were able to safely rescue the lost reptile and release him outside.

The homeowner originally called the FWC, but they told him they don’t respond to calls like that.

For those of you who ain’t from Florida and wonder how the critter got in there, well, sometimes people flush ’em down the toilet and they travel the sewers until they’re able to climb out.

This isn’t the first time it’s happened.
