In this video, a man is seen holding a hybrid of the Confederate Battle Flag and The Black Cross of Southern Nationalism.
The latter flag’s design was stolen from Saint Andrew’s Cross (Celtic/Christian) and repurposed by America’s neo-racists, like the ones that showed up in Charlottsville.
So that’s basically code for we’re a bunch of white supremacists who can’t stand seeing demographic shifts take place… These are essentially domestic terrorists, and are more extremist than your average “rebel flag” waving southerner who never read a history book.
The man holding this hybrid flag points his finger and says, “you’re spewing anti-southern hatred,” to which an unseen man replies with condemnations, saying “you were screaming about Jews, you were screaming about blacks, you’re a racist…”
Another man steps up and asks our flag-wielding Florida Man, “Why’d you call me a motherfucker?” Apparently he did earlier.
“Cause you’re a filthy communist,” replies the flag bearer.
The man replies, “I ain’t no Communist, bro… I’m Costa Rican…”
“Well then go back to Costa Rica!” yells the obsolete man filled with hate.
Another reply was made, and in response the flag bearer yelled “C’mon! C’mon motherfucker C’mon!” as he lunged towards the other man with the flag pole.
Police took him down before he could stabby-stabby.
The overly-stimulated crowd rejoiced over the fiasco, which probably only fed the hatred inside the man as police detained him.
The jeers and name-calling in this situation are understandable because of adrenaline, but should serve as a lesson to those watching safely at home; Hate cannot be defeated with more hate.
Everybody cool it, and don’t provoke these angry people. Instead, try talking to them. A simple “Hi, what’s your name?” in a calm tone can open a discussion of healing. If your goal is to truly eliminate racism, start with the core. Will this work for everyone? Of course not. Does that mean you shouldn’t try? Of course not. Just be nice. It makes a big difference, and it’s the only way through. Defeating others creates more hatred, because the defeated party stays angry. Analyze what you REALLY want to fix, and make sure your words and actions are useful towards achieving that goal.
That being said, it’s a proud moment when Floridians take a stand against racism and terrorists. Let’s continue standing up for what’s right while letting go of greed, hatred, and delusion.
Florida’s a beautifully diverse state, and we’re gonna keep it that way.

A judge sentenced a Fort Lauderdale man to life in prison on Thursday after he confessed to disemboweling his girlfriend for screaming her ex-husband’s name during sex.
Fidel Lopez, 25, pleaded guilty to first-degree murder and sexual battery to avoid the death penalty, according to WPLG.
On Sept. 20, 2015, officers responded to Lopez’s apartment in Sunrise and witnessed a horrific crime scene.
The closet door of the bedroom was ripped off its hinges, there were holes in the wall, and the sliding glass door was shattered, the police report states.
Officers found Lopez in the bathroom crying and sitting next to his girlfriend’s naked body, that was lying on the floor, covered in blood.
Lopez told detectives that he and his girlfriend were drinking in their apartment and started to have “rough sex,” WPLG reports. When he heard his girlfriend call out her ex-husband’s name twice, Lopez said that he “became a monster,” according to the arrest report.
Enraged, Lopez started breaking objects in the room and punching holes in the wall. He then went up to his girlfriend, who was lying unconscious, and “inserted several items into (her),” the report stated.
Lopez tried to wake her up by splashing water on her face, but called 911 when she stopped breathing. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Dear Floridians (and everybody else),
Florida’s a fucked up place. From animal abusers to angry ex-cops to Zimmerman to horse fuckers, we have plenty of issues. WTF Florida is your source for these fucked up news articles, and we encourage hysterical laughter at the zany headlines coming out of the Gunshine State.
After the laughter comes tears. The victims of Florida’s insanity aren’t laughing (unless they’re truly demented, which happens sometimes). We have a responsibility to improve Florida as much as we can.
WTF Florida would like to state a new mission:
We are dedicated to becoming a Karma Neutral State.
We want Florida’s karmatic number to be perfectly balanced at zero. Laughing at other people’s misery brings negative karma. Doing fucked up shit brings negative karma. Helping people who have been fucked over by Florida’s insanity brings you positive karma. We are still going to make fun of everybody who shows up on this site, but we are also going to start getting more serious about fixing stupid shit.
From this point on, we will occasionally start petitions to bring about justice, and to fix things that are unfair or that defy morals. We encourage our readers to help, not only by signing and sharing these petitions, but to also create them yourselves and to contact your representatives when appropriate. Please contact us if you have an issue that is important to you.
Send us info about your non-profit group or activism group, and we will try to get you more views (if you don’t mind being associated with us). Use the Contact page and let us know what you’re about.
All big problems start small. You can make a difference today by doing little things. Give a homeless person a bottle of water. Ask a local school what supplies they need and gift them with what you can afford. Use your fucking turn signals. The list goes on.
Help us help our state.
Let’s work together for the greater good.
Let’s make Florida slightly less fucked up.
Punching random people in the face is a criminal offense… unless you used to be a cop. Here at this Fort Lauderdale Beach hotel, an ex-cop got angry with the fact that valet parking wasn’t free, and punched the valet in the face, knocking him out. No charges were pressed…
No charges were pressed for this assault. We say fuck that. PRESS CHARGES!
Let’s petition the State Attorney’s Office to take action, otherwise people will think Florida a place where you can just assault random people because you’re having a bad day.
Employees identified the puncher as ex-cop John Kiernan of New Smyrna Beach. No charges were pressed for the attack.
FORT LAUDERDALE, FLA. (WSVN) – Surveillance video captured what appears to be a hotel guest punching and knocking out a valet, and the employee said the physical confrontation sparked over parking costs.
The incident took place Tuesday at the Ocean Sky Hotel, located at 4060 Galt Ocean Drive, on Fort Lauderdale Beach.
Surveillance video from the incident shows a man discussing something with valet attendant Rodolfo Rodriguez.
Speaking with 7News about the incident, the valet said the guest decided he did not want to pay to park. “He told me, ‘I’ve got a friend visiting me,’ and I told him, ‘It’s $18 for the parking,’” he said.
Moments later, the guest is seen punching the valet’s face, knocking him out. “Boom! Punched my face,” said Rodriguez.
Rodriguez is seen lying unconscious for about 20 seconds, and while passed out, the guest places the valet’s arms behind his back, in a manner that a police officer would when detaining someone.
The valet then regained consciousness. “I challenged the guy. I asked him, ‘What the hell are you doing?’” he said.
But he would not get an answer from the guest.
According to hotel staff, the man identified himself as a former Atlanta-area police officer. Employees identified him as John Kiernan of New Smyrna Beach.
“He was just angry,” said Rodriguez.
A suspected bank robber, in the buff, was captured on cellphone video making a run for it in Fort Lauderdale.

A Florida police officer responsible for killing a man’s dog after he entered the wrong apartment in a botched raid committed no rights violations and is entitled to immunity, a federal court has ruled.
According to a federal lawsuit, Officer Michael McBride was one of six Hollywood police officers and two Broward Sheriff’s deputies that were following up on a tip in January 2015 that a robbery suspect might be hiding in an apartment complex.
Unaware that a man inside, David Jimenez, went by the same nick name as the robbery suspect, the cops asked residents if they knew a man named “Flaco.” The officers never mentioned the real name of the man they were looking for, Francisco Quintana. Full Story »
