Lady Lake (WTFF) – A Florida man who was allegedly driving drunk through Lake County offered the arresting officer a handjob.
On Wednesday night around 10:00 pm, 26-year-old Peter Hinton was driving on 27/441 near Water Oak Country Club, a retirement community. The Longwood, Florida man was going 68 in a 40 MPH zone according to the arrest affidavit.
“License, registration, and proof of insurance” asked the officer.
Peter pulled out a “10% coupon for Lowes” instead, and presented it to him.
Needless to say, Peter was asked to step out of the car. Before the sobriety tests could even take place, he dropped his wallet and “made no attempt to pick it up.”
He admitted that he “had a couple of drinks from Chili’s” and “lost count as to how many drinks he had.” He later specified to another officer that he was drinking Crown and Coke.
Peter blew a .159g/210L on a breathalyzer test, and went on to perform several field sobriety tests including the Rhomberg with Recitation.
While trying to count from 1 to 50, he made it all the way to “27” and blurted out “36” right after that. He “then mumbled” 43 and 44, thus completing the exercise in his mind.
He was arrested and charged with his first DUI offense.
While en route to the Lake County jail, Peter offered to give the officer a “hand job” to get out of the arrest.
His bond remains at $1,000.
