Florida Transplant Gropes a Mother, Tells Her Husband: ‘Go Back to the Country You Came From’

Lisa Anne Matteson

Tarpon Springs (WTFF) – A Polk County woman was arrested for battery after groping a woman in front of her 6-year-old daughter and telling her husband to “go back” to his country.

The incident took place on Friday afternoon when the victim and her family were trying to enjoy a dolphin cruise on the Anclote River to the Gulf of Mexico, according to an arrest affidavit collected by The Smoking Gun.

58-year-old Lisa Anne Matteson grabbed the victim’s buttocks on two occasions, witnesses on the Spongeorama cruise line told police.

She was heard saying, “oh, it’s curved and nice,” and “I would do you.”

The victim’s 6-year-old daughter witnessed the groping.

When her husband asked Matteson to stop, she replied, “You should go back to the country you came from.”

Witnesses say that Matteson appeared intoxicated.

After being handcuffed, she told police that she didn’t remember anything, and that she didn’t know why she was being arrested.

Matteson now faces one misdemeanor battery charge. She spent the night in the Pinellas County Jail and was released Saturday morning on a $500 bond.

She lives with her husband, Seth, at 7115 Heath Drive, Port Richey, FL.

The pair moved to their new Florida home in 2018 from Glastonbury, Connecticut, according to property records.

This is absolutely insane! I have never ever ever ever heard tale of someone coming down from the north to release their pent up racism that they would never have dared speak from the Northern towns they come from. I don’t understand for the life of me why people from the very diverse communities of the north come down here cross the border and suddenly become hateful bigots. I am bewildered and confused. ( that entire statement is sarcasm). It actually happens a lot.

Ok. She’s a Pasco County Woman, not Polk County as stated early in the article. Both counties have tons of weirdos. Mostly from other states just like these idiots.
