Callahan (WTFF) – A Florida teen reportedly chased her grandfather with a knife after being told she was not allowed to eat any more tomatoes.
19-year-old Katie Jade Gates became angry that she was not allowed to eat more than her “fair share of tomatoes,” according to the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office. (CBS 47)
The grandmother said that Gates threw a fit and became disrespectful toward others in the house.
Gates first threw a pack of cigarettes at her 73-year-old great-grandmother, striking her in the eye.
Then she grabbed a knife and started waving it at her grandfather, deputies say.
Grandpa ran away and Gates reportedly chased him with the knife in her hand.
She “threatened to stab him in the face and began poking the knife toward his face, nearly cutting him,” the news report states.
Gates was arrested and charged with two felonies: aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and aggravated battery on a victim over the age of 65.
She lives with grandparents.

But were they homegrown? Because that might make it worth it. I mean, who doesn’t love homegrown tomatoes?
Oh my goodness I wonder why she is not living with her parents. Grand pop, who has already been through a war and a lifetime of hard times figured he could handle this one. God bless your soul old man. These kids today got superpowers from that methamphetamine. Next time put her food in a bowl put it outside with her and lock the doors for the night.
Hope them hood rats in the pokee teach you some manners buttercup
Kinda cute though… just look at that smile!
Lock her ass up!!
