SEMINOLE COUNTY (WTFF) – A small plane landed in the median of Interstate 4 on November 3, just north of State Road 434 near Longwood.
The pilot was flying alone reported running low on fuel.
He tried to land at a nearby golf course, but chose the unopened stretch of the highway instead. Since I-4 is eternally under construction, it was very easy to find an empty space.
Because of all the idiots slowing down to rubberneck, a traffic join occurred and slowed down I-4 to its standard crawl for a while.
Florida Highway Patrol Sgt. Kim Montes said to News 96.5 WDBO that “no eastbound traffic was affected.”
Nobody died or got hurt.
