Florida Man Runs From Cops, Drowns in Retention Pond

Orlando (WTFF) – A Florida man is dead after being chased into a retention pond by cops.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office said that 49-year-old Corey Anderson was caught with felony narcotics, as reported by NBC Miami.

He fled, running away and presumably trying to escape.

Then he leaped into a retention pond and drowned.

The deputies “tried to save him,” NBC reports.
